A free parenting class will be held at the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department, 804 North Parkway, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday.
According to a press release from Mallory Cooke – Public Information Officer, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department – the class will concentrate on conscious discipline.
Signal Centers Family Engagement Quality Coach Regina Henning will discuss how to make parenting easier, better and more fulfilling with discipline strategies that are backed by science and proven to be effective.
The class is free for participants. You do not have to RSVP to attend, and child care will be available.
