The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department, the Tennessee Child Care Resource & Referral Network and Signal Centers will host a free parenting class at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, December 16.
The church is located at 173 Roosevelt Parkway.
According to a press release from Mallory Cooke – Public Information Officer, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department – this month’s class – and final for 2019 – will concentrate on conscious discipline.
Signal Centers Family Engagement Quality Coach Regina Henning will talk with parents about effective discipline strategies backed by science.
The class is free for participants. You do not have to RSVP to attend, and child care will be available.
