West Tennessee Healthcare’s Senior Services Department, West TN Neuroscience and Spine, The Foundation, and the Alzheimer’s Community of West Tennessee invite you to attend a free mini conference for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, and professional and family caregivers.
The conference is scheduled for Thursday evening, November 7, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the J. Walter Barnes Conference Center, located at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital, 620 Skyline Drive, Jackson, Tennessee.
Registration and a light snack dinner will begin at 5 p.m.
The conference will feature Dr. Michael T. Anton, Clinical Neuropsychologist, West Tennessee Neuroscience and Spine. Dr. Anton will offer information concerning the diagnosis and stages of the Alzheimer’s.
Mrs. Virginia Conger, widow of former Mayor Bob Conger, will share her experience as a caregiver to her late husband.
The evening will also feature a panel discussion providing information and resources for those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of Dementia.
