The 10 Solid Waste Convenience Center sites in Madison County will close one hour early during the winter months.
According to a press release from Mallory Cooke – Public Information Officer, Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department – all convenience centers will close at 5 p.m. during November, December, and January.
The change takes effect Friday, Nov. 1.
“We do this during the time change for the safety of citizens and attendants,” Environmental
Health Program Director Candy Overstreet said.
All sites will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
