GIBSON COUNTY TN (Oct 22, 2019) – Charges in the case of missing Milan teen Casey McDaniel
Today, Gibson County District Attorney Garry Brown announced that on Fri Oct 18, 2019, a special- called meeting of the Grand Jury a True Bill of Indictment was returned against Finis Ewin Hill a/k/a “Pete Hill” of Milan, Tennessee, charging Hill with two counts of First Degree Murder and two counts of Aggravated Rape in the abduction and rape of fourteen (14) year old Cayce Lynn McDaniel, from her home in Milan in 1996. this case continues to be an active investigation.
On the night of August 16, 1996, Cayce Lynn McDaniel, age 14, had been attending a back-to-school dance at her church. After the dance, McDaniel was returned to her home in Milan by a family friend. She was discovered missing in the early morning hours of August 17, 1996, by her mother, Cindy McDaniel. This remains an active investigation. @Keithsherley
