JACKSON, Tenn (April 30, 2015) – On Thursday in Jackson court two men appeared on charges related to alleged thefts of guns, and other items from a Jackson home.
According to an affidavit, on March 30 the homeowner reported the thefts. Investigators say two Les Paul Signature Series guitars, four handguns, jewelry and a women’s purse were taken from the victims Greensborough Drive residence while he was out of town, according to the homeowner.
The total value of the stolen items is about $26,930, according to document.
Investigators say the spoke with Chase Owen and Nathan Welch, who said they saw two guitars, handguns, and a woman’s purse in the vehicle but didn’t know how the items got in the vehicle.
They both told police the two of them and Charles Oliver, III left the home in Oliver’s vehicle, according to the affidavit.
Owen and Welch each is charged with theft of property over $10,000. Bond was set at $5,000 each.
