BROWNSVILLE TN (October 1, 2019): (Press Release) The Hatchie Bottom Bluegrass Jamboree is set for Saturday, October 12, at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, Brownsville. In its third year, the jamboree moves from its usual evening schedule to an afternoon event. The free event will feature bands from the Jackson, Tenn., based Golden Circle Opry. Stage performances will take place from 1 – 5 p.m.
This year’s jamboree includes the following Tennessee bands; Pea Ridge Ramblers, 7 Mile Creek and Providence Road. The Hatchie Bottom Boys of Corinth, Miss., will also make a guest appearance. Shade tree pickers are invited to perform before and after the stage performances.
“We are excited to continue the bluegrass tradition started three years ago with the Delta Heritage Center,” said John Few, Golden Circle Opry producer. “And especially happy to move the event to the fall.”
There is limited bleacher seating and attendees are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets for more comfortable seating. The event occurs rain or shine.
