JACKSON Tenn (April 22,2015) – A Jackson man accused of ID theft, stealing truck appeared in city court

Laquan Jones is charged with Theft under $500, Identity Theft, and Auto Theft.
In March Jackson Police officers responding to a hit-and-run call say they found a black Ford Ranger that had reportedly been stolen. According to officers inside the vehicle they found a receipt that connected Jones to a Shell convenience service station on South Highland Avenue in Jackson.
According to court documents it was there Jones used a debit card taken from the truck’s owners.
Jones being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
