Gary Reasons, mayor of Crockett County has confirmed he was the individual assaulted by George Walter Yearwood, the property assessor of Crockett County.
“I was caught off-guard by surprise,” Reasons said, “… yes, it did happen.”
Yearwood has been jailed in Alamo for aggravated assault.
