JACKSON Tenn (April 20, 2015) – According to a warrant, Jackson Police officers were dispatched to 126 McCoury Street for a disturbance call.

Officers say they found London Martin in the backyard of W. Park Place residence.

According to officers, London was having trouble keeping her balance as she walked and officers recognized a strong odor of alcohol on Ms Martin. They also say the teen was visibly upset.

According to officers they attempted to talk with the teen but she was uncooperative.

According to the arrest warrant, officers attempted to take London into custody for public intoxication and underage drinking however,  while officers were attempting to place handcuffs on the suspect she became violent and caused an injury to one of the officers.

Martin faces multiple charges including, simple assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, underage drinking, and public intoxication.
