Interview with Brent Lay continues on The 180 with Dan Reaves and Sea Bass on NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM & WNWS.COM.
“I’m not a candidate,” Lay said, when asked about his interest in becoming the superintendent of the Jackson-Madison County School System, “I have no intention of turning in my resume, or application or interviewing for superintendent.”
Lay said dealing with the accusations – involvement with the school board, superintendent’s position – has been difficult.
“It’s painful at times,” Lay said, “I’m an agent of change. You are going to have your critics … I’ve always been a visionary.”
