Bryan Champine named JPD’s officer of the month

The Jackson Police Department has named Officer Bryan C. Champine as the “Employee of the Month,” for June.

According to a press release, Officer Champine is assigned to the Patrol Division and has only two years of service with the Jackson Police.

Officer Champine started his career as an officer with the Memphis Police Department.

Since arriving in Jackson, Officer Champine has exemplified a textbook attitude toward his fellow officers and the people in the community.

Because of his ability to interact with the community, Officer Champine has been able to obtain critical information which has afforded him the opportunity of being proactive.

Since 2017, Officer Champine has seized numerous guns and drugs from the streets of this community, thereby, contributing to the safety of all citizens.

Officer Champine spends a great deal of time interacting with young teenagers.

He not only encourages these young teenagers, but he also challenges them to do better.

Officer Champine is definitely a great asset to the Jackson Police Department.

He was recently selected to the Field Training Officer Program where he will have the ability to share his work ethic and knowledge with new recruits.

Officer Champine comes from a family of Public Servants. Both his father and brother have served the public sector.
