The number of ballots cast totaled 898 in Early Voting on Day 2, to select Scott Conger or Jerry Woods as the next Mayor of Jackson.

The number votes for the first two days of Early Voting in the runoff totals 1,795.

Conger and Woods received the majority of the votes in the May 7 Election, but neither had the necessary 50 percent, plus-one to win the race outright.

Voters registered in the City of Jackson can cast early ballots weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 9 a.m. to Noon, Saturdays, through Thursday, June 13.

Election Day is June 18.

In order to vote, a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. Government must be presented.
