The City of Jackson will be removing old asphalt and repaving Lafayette Street from North Highland Avenue to North Royal Street, beginning at 5 a.m., Saturday.
The work will continue until it is completed and all vehicles will need to be moved out of the parking areas in this location until the crews have reopened the road.
Automobiles not moved will be towed at the expense of the owner.
