Electric vehicle charging station available at Walmart North

For those who drive automobiles powered by electricity, Electrify America DC, a company that owns and manages an electric vehicle charging network, has four stations available at Walmart North.

Motorists are charged a session fee of $1, and prices range from $0.30 to $0.35 per minute.

It is estimated a full charge will cost in the neighborhood of $10- to $11.

The process for a full charge will take about 30 minutes.

If a consumer elects to go into Walmart, after the charge has begun, they will be notified after the car is 80 percent charged, and it will take another 10 minutes to complete the process.

An idle fee of $0.40 is charged per minute.

This is to keep the stations available for other motorists.

An electric vehicle charging station is also available at Casey Jones Village.
