PHOTO GALLERY: Elderly Woman Victim Of Theft

JACKSON Tenn (March 30, 2015) – An elderly woman says she is the victim of theft and Identity theft. According to investigators with the Jackson Police Department the theft and use of stolen credit cards occurred at Kroger 41 Stonebrook Place, Jackson.

On Friday, March 20, at approximately 5:30 p.m., an elderly female’s wallet was stolen while she shopped at a local Kroger. Within an hour of the theft, the credit cards belonging to the elderly female was used at a local Walmart, Lowes and Family Dollar store in South Jackson. Utilizing the stolen credit cards, the suspect purchased merchandise totaling in excess of $1000.00.

Officers obtained a detailed description of the suspect from the elderly female. The female that fits the description is captured on video surveillance using the credit cards at all three stores. The female matches the description of the female that stole the wallet from the elderly female at Kroger.
