The picture is beginning to clear, and the number of people running for Mayor of Jackson is five, following a noon deadline to file, today.
Jimmy Eldridge, a retired State Representative from Jackson, Scott Conger, president/CEO of the United Way of West Tennessee, Jerry Woods, an educator, Mark Johnstone, a Jackson businessman and Vicky Foote, a Jackson City Councilwoman – District 1 – will be on the ballot when the election is held, May 7.
Jackson City Court Clerk Daryl Hubbard picked up a petition in January, but did not file.
