JACKSON Tenn (March 16, 2015) — Charles Pittman, the former Union University student accused of murdering his fiancee Olivia Greenlee, is scheduled to make another court appearance today.
Pittman’s last appearance in court was on February 9 when Judge Roy Morgan ruled against a change of venue motion by George Googe, Pittman’s attorney.
Morgan also set Pittman’s bond at $1 million dollars.
After the hearing Googe said he didn’t expect Pittman would be able to make bond.
In February, 2014, Pittman was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence after his fiancee, Olivia Greenlee, was found shot to death in her car at Luther Hall on the Union University campus.
Pittman’s trial set to begin May 12.
