JACKSON Tenn (March 16, 2015) — The Madison County Commission is meeting this morning for the monthly legislative session.
Among the agenda item commissioners will consider a resolution regarding hospital revenue bonds. Commissioners will give possible approval to a resolution approving financing for the purpose of refunding city of Jackson bonds payable from the revenue of Jackson
Madison County General Hospital.
Attorneys for the group tell us the hospital has the opportunity to refinance and reduce interest rates on several bonds. The city approved the resolution at it’s last council meeting.
The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. The meeting is at the Jackson Madison County Health Department, North Parkway
The body will also appoint a Madison County Attorney for a two-year term, Steve Maroney incumbent.
