The Christmas Season officially begins.
Santa Claus comes to town and 110 dignitaries, bands and floats will participate in the annual Jackson Christmas Parade, which begins at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, today.
“A Magical, Musical Christmas” is the theme for the parade, which will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Nell Huntspon, a Jackson businesswoman, will serve as the Grand Marshal.
