With a win Saturday, the Jackson Generals will capture its second Southern League title in the last three years.
The Generals defeated Biloxi 12-7 in game three of the Southern League Championship Series at MGM Park to take a 2-1 lead their best-of-five series against the Shuckers, Friday.
Justin Donatella scattered six hits and allowed two runs in six complete innings to earn the win.
Jared Miller, Bud Jeter and Sam Lewis each worked one inning in relief.
Dominic Leyba was the hitting star for the Generals, going 4-for-6, with four RBI.
The Generals and Shuckers play game 4 at 6:35 p.m.
