How do two radio stations produce six live football broadcasts?
By using the stations Internet sites and a mountain of high-tech equipment.
For 2018, Wireless Group owned radio stations will broadcast high school football games involving the University School of Jackson Bruins, Haywood High School Tomcats, Crockett County Cavaliers, South Gibson Hornets, Chester County Eagles, and weekly games from various Jackson-Madison County Public Schools.
News/Talk 101.5 FM – Dan Reaves, Sea Bass and Richard Barber – will broadcast the USJ Bruins every Friday night.
Greg Van Story and Robert Rooks have the play-by-play of the Haywood Tomcats on 95.3 FM.
Also, USJ games will be livestreamed on WNWS.COM and Haywood’s games will be simulcast on brownsvilleradio.com.
