Body of Chester County teen who fell off Alvin C. York Bridge found in Tennessee River

Search crews have recovered the body of Katelyn Campbell, 19.

Campbell, who was from Jacks Creek, which is east of Henderson in Chester County, accidentally fell from a bridge into the Tennessee River in Decatur County, late Saturday.

According to reports, Decatur County Sheriff Keith Byrd said rescue squads pulled her from the river about half a mile from where she fell in, earlier Monday.

Rescue crews from several counties had been searching for her since midnight, Saturday.

It has not been determined why she was on the catwalk of the Alvin C. York Bridge when she accidentally fell into the river, which is about 70 feet below the bridge, and located on Highway 412 in Linden.
