Power Restored After Brief Gibson Electric Membership Corp Outage

About 1,000 Gibson Electric Membership Corporation members’ homes and businesses south of Trenton were affected by an outage this morning.

According to Rita Alexander, GEMC spokesperson,  The outage began at 10:19 a.m. and power was restored at 10:40 a.m.

Alexander said, “We apologize for any inconvenience it ( the outage) caused.”  The cause of the outage is still under invesigation.
