Union University advanced to the NCAA Division 2 semifinals following a 73-70 win over Carson-Newman College, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Monday.

Chelsey Shumpert led Union with 24 points, followed by Sara Lytle and Annalea Little with 11 points each and Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, who contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Bulldogs, seeded seventh, will play Central Missouri (No. 6 seed) at 6 p.m., Wednesday.
