(December 31, 2014) MADISON County — A Hooper Timber truck overturned on Providence Road and Lower Brownsville Road.  The driver was airlifted to the Med in Memphis.

Authorities say a 911 call of an accident came in around 10:00 AM. Emergency responders, including Madison County Sheriff’s deputies and Madison County Medical 1st Responders and firefighters,  arrived and determined a single truck appeared to have overturned with one victim, the driver, involved.

The victim had to be extricated from the truck.  He was airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.  His name was not available at the scene.  He was conscious and responsive when he was taken from the truck.

Hooper Lumber officials arrived with equipment to help move the load of cut timber and turn the truck over for a wrecker to haul away.
