Veteran’s Day Ceremony

On Tuesday November 11, 2014 a celebration of Veteran’s Day was held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

The event included a flag retirement ceremony, Presentation of Colors, National Anthem and God Bless American sung by Haley Lewis, Miss America, Invocation by Dr Spurgeon Smith, Introduction of Guests, POW-MIA Ceremony by Liberty HS, AFJROTC, Flag Folding Ceremony by NSHS AFJROTC, Remarks by Steve Bowers, Mark Breece, General Max Haston, Special Music by The Volunteers of the U.S Army Field Band, and closing ceremony Taps by Tom Grant.
