SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (AP) – Authorities are searching for a Springfield man they say admitted killing his wife.
Authorities search for suspect in wife’s death
According to media reports, Joseph Parker, 45, called 911 at about 2:45 a.m. Friday morning and told authorities that he had murdered his wife, 44-year-old Samantha Parker, two days earlier, at their home on Clydesdale Lane in Springfield’s Oakland Farms subdivision.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the body of 44-year-old Samantha Parker, but Joseph Parker wasn’t there.
The cause of death has not been released. However, authorities have classified the case a homicide.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case. The state added 45-year-old Joseph Parker to the Tennessee’s Top Ten Most Wanted list.
