Missing Baby Found In Illinois
According the the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Police found an 8-month-old girl safe in Illinois after acquaintances of the child’s mother took her from a Memphis hotel where they were staying Friday.
Police issued an Amber Alert for Samiyah Nicholes when her mother reported that she had been abducted from the Econo Lodge at 6045 Macon Cove.
Memphis police said the three acquaintances of the child’s mother took the baby after a disagreement over the hotel payment.
Illinois State Police found the suspects, Brandon Wright, 29, Becky Jo Mitchell, 27, and a man known as Buck. The suspects surrendered without incident and the baby was unharmed.
Amber Alert issued for toddler taken from family
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – An Amber Alert has been issued for a toddler who police say was taken from family members at a motel in Memphis.
Memphis police told WMC-TV (http://bit.ly/1tj7yyC ) that two men and a woman snatched 8-month-old Samiyah Nicholes from the EconoLodge around 6 a.m. Friday.
Officers are looking for two men and a woman believed to have taken the baby after a disagreement with the child’s mother.
Police say the group could be in a black 2014 Buick SUV with Illinois tags.
