JACKSON, Tenn — Jackson police are investigating a home burglary, assault and car theft that occurred on the 20 block of Winchester Cove.
Officers responded to the call around 5 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators learned that an elderly woman came home to find two intruders inside her house. The suspects assaulted the woman and took valuables, including her car.
The woman was treated and released from Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Humboldt police recovered the woman’s car in Humboldt this morning. The car was towed to Jackson to be processed for any evidence.
The only available description of the suspects is two slender black males dressed in dark clothing.
