JACKSON Tenn — At 5:53 p.m. Monday, police were called about a shooting at 46 Cross Brook Cove. the woman who lived at the home was found dead inside from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police have identified the victims as 58-year-old Donna Green

The preliminary investigation has revealed that Green was shot by her husband. Investigators say they do not have reason to believe the shooting was intentional.

According to authorities, the husband has been cooperative in this investigation. Police are not releasing the husband’s name because no charges have been filed at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and upon completion, the findings will be presented to the District Attorney for review.
