JACKSON Tenn — On Fridaythe Kohl’s Department store Loss Prevention Manager observed and record ed two suspects shoplifting several pairs of shoes valued at a total of $292.93. The two suspects worked together as they selected and then concealed the merchandise in the female’s large purse. The suspects exited the store after several minutes inside.

The Loss Prevention Manager was unable to make an apprehension at the time and notified the Jackson Police Department. After exiting the store, the two suspects were seen leaving in a dark red Nissan Maxima.
The license plate was captured on camera which lead investigators to the identity of the male suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued for Joy Gardner, who is pictured in the screen shot with the unknown female suspect. The female suspect has not yet been identified. She is described as a black female with a light complected skin tone who is very heavy set.
