JACKSON, Tenn– Thursday a Jackson man US Marshal’s recently captured in Indiana was arraigned on a murder charge.
According to a release, following a tip, 23-year-old Dontavious Hendrix was arrested Sept. 5 in Indianapolis by U.S. Marshals. Hendrix was arraigned in Jackson City Court charged with second-degree murder in the July death of Justin Williams.
According to authorities, Hendrix was developed as a suspect in the death of Justin Williams. Williams was found in a yard on North Royal Street, Jackson. He had been shot multiple times. Williams was transported to the Madison County General Hospital.
Hendrix is being held on $500,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18 for his preliminary hearing.
21-year-old Mondarrius Miller is also charged in Williams’ death with second-degree murder.
