JACKSON, Tenn. (Oct 12, 2017) – An armed robbery occurred at a local liquor store. The robbery happened Thursday night. The business is located in the 800 block of Whitehall Street.

Jackson Police say a man showed a clerk at the Discount Tobacco and Beer store a hand gun.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Jackson Police later took a man in custody at Whitehall and Labelle Street. They say this man is now a person of interest.
