Chris Baker, an instructor at Madison Academic High School has returned home from the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, following a bicycle accident Monday.

Baker was struck by a motorist while cycling on Ashport Road and was airlifted to Memphis.

“He’s home … no broken bones, but he’s sore,” said Dr. Eric Jones, the superintendent of Jackson-Madison County Schools. “He’s very fortunate.”
