On Sunday morning at approximately 2:00 AM while on duty a Jackson patrol officer heard multiple shots fired.

Investigation discovered shell casings around the intersection of Oak Park Dr and North Royal St. in east Jackson.

There were no witnesses or complainants but the evidence was collected and will be logged into a database for further referral in past and future investigation.
