Jackson police are investigating a Monday night shooting on Lennon
Cove.
At approximately 10:55 p.m., police were called about shots fired on
the 1000 block of Wallace Road. Officers responded to the area.
Moments later, a 20-year-old Jackson man arrived by private car at
the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with a gunshot wound
to the leg. The man told officers that he was on Lennon Cove off of
Wallace Road when shots were fired from a car.
The only description of the suspects provided by the man was a small
blue car driven by a white male with a black male passenger.
The man was admitted into the hospital where he remains in stable
condition.
