(March 10, 2014) West Tennessee- Lace up your hiking boots and get ready to trek the great outdoors of Tennessee.
Tennessee State Park rangers will hold their Spring Hike guided hike tours all across the state.
The 2014 Spring Hikes are made for everyone of every skill level from beginner to advanced.
The Associated Press spoke to Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill. He said that the hikes are a great way to get outside, exercise and enjoy nature with friends and family.
Pinson Mounds will host their Spring Hike on March 20, the first day of spring. The program starts at 6am and lasts until 7pm.
If you’re going to the Pinson Mounds Hike, you’ll need a flashlight and they ask that you arrive quietly at the parking lot.
