(March 5, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Madison County School System is planning to open their Academic Academy inside of Northeast Middle School.
The academy is an application-only school for gifted students. Though all students have to apply to get in to the school, the school is tailored towards gifted students.
The application process was an in-person process. There were two dates to apply, March 1 and March 4.
Currently, there has been no word on rescheduling. It will be rescheduled, but a decision on rescheduling will be made at a later date.
