(February 21, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- The County Commission races, the Circuit Court Judge races, and the Constable races aren’t the only races being run in the May Primaries and the August General Elections. 

Most of the other races, however, are uncontested. County Mayor Jimmy Harris (R) is running unopposed, as is District Attorney Jerry Woodall and Chancellor James Butler. 

The current Trustee John Newman, Circuit Court Clerk Kathy Blount, and Juvenile Court Clerk James Swift are also running unopposed. 

General Sessions Judge in Division 1 Hugh Harvey is running unopposed as well as Division 2 Judge Christy Little. 

County Clerk Fred Birmingham (R) has a challenger for his position. He will face independent James Baxter in August. 

Linda Waldon, the current Register of Deeds for Madison County, will run unopposed in the August election.
