(February 21, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Chamber hosted their first CapitolTALK of the year on Friday morning.
The event gives insight into what’s going on in the legislature as told by some of the area’s legislators.
Joining attendees were State Senator Lowe Finney, State Representative Jimmy Eldridge, and State Representative Johnny Shaw.
One of the issues mentioned by Representative Eldridge was the wine in supermarkets legislation that passed the State House Thursday.
Other issues discussed were seatbelt regulations and fines and a new handheld device bill from Representative Johnny Shaw that would fine violators for repeat offenses.
