(August 19, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- JEA opened their new Customer Service Center at 351 Dr. Martin Luther Jr. Drive on Monday.
The office at the new location will be open from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. The drive-thru will be open from 7:30AM to 6PM on the same days.
This location is open as a move from 119 East College street. The building suffered water damage and was closed on July 15th but reopened later.
The building has also seen fire, smoke, and water damage in 1974. In 2003, tornado winds caused roof and water damage.
The closing of the East College Street building will allow for further analysis and evaluation so the best course of action can be determined.
