The Dow gained 52.32 and closed above the 22,000-mark (22,016.24) for the first time ever, Wednesday, its 32nd record this year.

Apple (AAPL) shares gave the Dow 30 a push, finishing at $115.79, up $7.09 – after reporting strong earnings.

The NASDAQ finished the day down 0.29 at 6,362.65.
