(July 25, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Yesterday Jackson Christian School presented plans for a new unlit soccer field and running track to the Jackson City Board of Zoning Appeals.
There were multiple residents from around the area that were opposed to the expansions citing reasons such as noise pollution, privacy concerns, and the disturbance of the natural habitat.
There is a Facebook Page titled, "Save the 'Forest at Forest Downs'" for those that wish to join with others in their discussions of the topic.
The Board of Zoning Appeals tabled the discussion of the project citing that they did not have enough information to make an informed decision.
JCS has 60 days to complete multiple studies and surveys.
