Superintendent Verna Ruffin has announced that Jackson Madison County Schools (JMCS) Teacher In-service scheduled for Monday will begin one hour later than originally scheduled due to inclement weather.
The district staff will begin welcoming faculty at the Carl Perkins Civic Center beginning at 8:00 a.m. to enjoy coffee and hot chocolate with the superintendent before the official start of the inservice program beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Central Office will be on a one hour delayed schedule. School officials will be monitoring weather developments and will communicate any changes that might need to be made in the best interest of the safety of our staff.
