(November 25, 2013, Jackson, TN) – Any student in Jackson and/or Madison County that is interested in open enrollment in one of the high school programs for the 2014-2015 school year will need to submit an open enrollment school application before the application deadline of January 31, 2014. For the 2014-2015 school year, Jackson-Madison County School System will offer open enrollment applications for the following high school programs: Jackson Central-Merry Academy of Medical Technology, Liberty Technology Magnet High School and North Side High School and South Side High School. The high school magnet program that will be offered will be Madison Academic Magnet High School.
Open enrollment and magnet applications will be available online at www.jmcss.org, at all of the public middle and high schools, and at the Board of Education School Service Center located at 310 North Parkway.
Students may apply for more than one program. For students who live in the JCM zone, they will need to submit an application for the health science magnet program, even though they live in the JCM zone.
Parent information meetings will be set and announced at a later date.
Applications for elementary and middle school open enrollment and magnet schools will be available beginning January 15, 2014.
