‘City Farmhouse Pop-up Fair’ set for the Venue at White Oak Farms in Medina

MEDINA – Numerous curated vendors exhibiting a wide variety of antique goods, vintage wares, jewelry and hand-made selections are scheduled to participate at the City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair – August 17-19 – at the Venue at White Oak Farms in Medina.

Stephanie and Josh Alexander, owners of The Venue at White Oak Farms are the first licensees of the City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair, which was founded in Franklin by Kim and David Leggett.

“Having lived in Nashville for 12 years, we had easy access to some amazing events,” Stephanie Alexander said. “When we were thinking about building a venue on our farm, we knew we wanted to bring some of those unique events to Medina and West Tennessee.”

Stephanie and Josh are originally from Jackson.

“We are thrilled that The Venue at White Oak Farms is the first location ever outside of Franklin to get to host a licensed City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair,” Stephanie said. “We are very lucky they chose West Tennessee as their first “”home-away-from-home.””

Stephanie said the Leggetts developed this series of pop-ups in 2013 to host some of the most renowned antique vendors from across the country, many of whom reflect the Leggett’s trademark farmhouse modern aesthetic-now widely referred to in certain circles as “City Farmhouse style.”

It is estimated since its inception, the Leggetts have attracted over 50,000 people to Williamson County, Tennessee, while gaining a reputation for their festival-like atmosphere, shopping, entertainment, and an array of local food trucks.

But there’s more to the 5,000-square-foot Venue at White Oak Farms.

“It is a unique event space designed to be home for a myriad of gatherings,” Stephanie said. “Weddings, private parties, corporate events, non-profit fundraisers and university/academic events … the design of the space is a marriage of both modern amenities combined with timeless elements.”

Hours for the City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, August 17 ; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, August 18, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, August 19.
