(September 25, 2013) Jackson TN – On Monday, Investigators from the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served narcotics search warrant at the home of Christopher Simpson, 194 Pierce Road in southeast Madison County.
Accordingto Investigators, the search of the residence revealed approximately 29.1 grams (1-ounce) of Crack Cocaine, approximately 21.5 grams (3/4-ounce) of Powder Cocaine, approximately 328 grams (12-ounces) of Marijuana, five 5mg Oxycodone pills, a .22 caliber handgun, a digital scale with drug residue on it and drug packaging materials.
Simpson was present at the time of the search warrant and was taken into custody.
The drugs seized from this search warrant have an estimated street value $5,100. Four vehicles, $2,367 in U.S. currency and numerous items of electronic equipment believed to be the proceeds of drug sales were seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act.
Christopher J. Simpson, age 37, of 194 Pierce Road in Madison County was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm in commission of a Dangerous Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was arraigned in Madison County General Sessions Court and is being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
