(September 13, 2013) Jackson TN – On Friday investigators from the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant at Room 216 of the Days Inn located at 2239 Hollywood Drive which had been rented by Jeremy Eckford.
The search of the room revealed approximately 142.1 grams (5-ounces) of Marijuana, a digital scale and drug packaging materials. Eckford had left the scene prior to the Investigators arrival, but he returned before their departure and was taken into custody.
24 year-old Jeremy Sherrod Eckford, 75 Shadow Lawn Drive in Jackson was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits arraignment in Jackson City Court.
