Jackson Police have arrested Nicholas Adam Barker, 25 of 29 Hansford Place Jackson, Tennessee and charged him with Aggravated Burglary and Arson.
Barker is currently being treated at Jackson Madison County General Hospital for injuries he received during the burglary but is expected to be arraigned in Jackson City Court, via video link, at 8 A.M. on Thursday 8-08-2013. Barker’s bond will be set during the arraignment.
On 08-03-2013 Jackson Police and the Jackson Fire Department were called to a vehicle fire in the 100 block of Coolwood Dr. Investigators were able to
determine that the vehicle had been intentionally set ablaze. Investigators were able to identify Nicholas Adam Barker as the suspect and a warrant was issued
for his arrest on an arson charge.
On 8-06-2013 Officers were again called to the victim’s residence on Coolwood. Officers arrived to find the residents holding Nicholas Barker. Investigation
revealed that Barker had returned to the victim’s house, forced his way in and assaulted multiple victims. Barker then jumped from the victim’s window and
injured himself. Barker was detained by the victims until Officers arrived and took him into custody.

Jackson Police continue to investigate and expect further charges to be forthcoming.
